Everybody knows
if you want
pumpkins with character
you go
to a pumpkin patch.
A Saturday afternoon outing to our local pumpkin patch
Started out with a bouncy tractor ride ...
[Forget pumpkins. Janie loved the smelly tractor!]
... And ended with a handful [a few armfuls actually] of roly-poly porch-bound pumpkins.
Our pumpkin patch selections were a little bit bigger on the bottom than the top, and only wanted their good sides on camera.
Kind of like... us.
We learned that pumpkin vines also have character [they are mean!], long skinny pumpkins like to hide [or they seem to get eaten ... by birds?], and that Janie wouldn't mind if we ever decided to raise a goat.
