This cute little crew
was due to find out what color their next baby blankets will be.
They wanted us all to be there. Sound crazy?
Let's just say...
it was a piece of cake!
Kathie's sister has a friend who makes all kinds of INCREDIBLE cakes
[including sweet baby cakes with mystery pink or blue filling]
and offered to have one made for Matt and Kathie.
At the ultrasound, they told the technician they didn't want to know, but to instead tell
*The Cake Girl*
what they were having.
She got busy on the cake.
That night families from both sides gathered to watch them
cut the cake.
It's... it's... it's....
[darn it. I must have been shaking from all the excitement!]
*PINK!*
[it really was pink, my camera had issues with the lighting in the room]
The happy parents (who were secretly hoping it would be so!)
So excited for Kathie to have some long hair to do, Matt to turn into a softy and Ammon to have a little sister to protect [or sometimes pick on]!
And bringing our new Case Count totals to:
girls: 8 boys: 6
(for years it was - girls: 1 boys: 5)
It was a sweet night!
