word to your mother

From my personal panel of motherly figures,
a few thoughts to inspire
motherly figures...

What are important attributes for being a mother?

From my mom, Shelley:

::be a good listener::sacrifice::be an example::

From my Grandma Nora [who is almost nearly 99!]:

::patience::consistency [for example, keep the Sabbath Day holy every week]::do what you say::praise for a job well done is pretty important::show love and affection::punish when necessary with non-physical punishment::enforce rules and praise when they follow them::punish by restriction, not by force::always show love, even when they're naughty::
::enjoy your children::
