J's Spring Reads

and we're back!

Here are the winners for Janie's Books of Spring 2010.

also known as: Janie's favorite books
[this month anyway]

The three books on the right are from the Target dollar section
[one of my nine weaknesses of all time!]

Two of them are scratch and sniff, and Janie tries to sniff them, but she sniffs out instead of in.

Inside Freight Train is one of the snazziest books ever.
The pages split to show you what's inside the train!

Baby's House is a Little Golden Book.
My nostalgia acts up really bad when I see those books at the store.
[also likely one of my nine weaknesses]
Janie gets really excited during that book,
because the baby goes in the same rooms that she goes in at our house.
But he [or she, I can't tell what the baby is] is very unattended,
especially in the kitchen and bathroom areas.

Ten in the Bed is a loooong song did you know?
So around here, it goes "Ten...seven...four... and one in the bed and the little one said..."

Sky Tree is gorgeous.
Janie gets really excited about the picture where the tree is covered with snow.
She always looks at the window, even though we haven't had snow here in a month or more.
Then I feel bad, because clearly we don't get outside nearly enough.
I guess the Target parking lot doesn't count, huh?
